I’ve been thinking about building a headboard for my bedroom. I’ve been researching DIY sites online and surprisingly the project actually looks manageable. I am now stuck at the important stage of finding the perfect fabric for my headboard. I would like to purchase the fabric locally, but I found some beautiful fabrics at Lotta Jansdotter online. Maybe I’ll search a little longer before I place an order. Hmmm…
Welcome to sugarpharm. I chose the name sugarpharm to reflect my childhood background growing up on a farm and because I now work as a pharmacist.
This is not a typical fashion, design or health blog. I like to think of it as the "Carla magazine"; a magazine that reflects my interests. This blog is a compilation of cool products that I have stumbled upon, ideas I find captivating, and information that I would like to share with others.
Please let me know if you have any comments, suggestions or if you would just like to say hello. (carla AT sugarpharm dot com)

That’s a nice, soothing fabric. Definitely something good for a peaceful night of rest. Will you be able to remove the fabric to wash once in a while?

The DIY guides I’ve been looking at have all been made with non-removable fabrics. My sewing skills are not great, so I am worried that if I make a removable cover, I wont be able to make it tight enough and it’ll end up looking sloppy. You’re right that a removable and washable cover is much more practical. I’ll have to think about this a bit more before I start.
